REBT is a branch of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) which offers a logical and practical approach to psychological wellbeing. REBT is about emotional responsibility and philosophic change. The originator of REBT was Albert Ellis and his aim was to help clients help themselves move towards psychological health. Together, the therapist and client examine the client’s assumptions about their life and use validation checks to find out if the client’s views support their aims.
I am currently working to complete an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Therapy. My work is fully supervised and I offer short term work. I maintain confidentiality, limited by law and the requirement to share some information with my tutors.
